MOH Extends COVID-19 outreach activity Vigie Sports Complex

In an effort to continue providing coverage of COVID-19 testing within the Castries to Gros-Islet basin, the Ministry of Health and Wellness has extended its mobile testing activity at the Vigie Sports Complex in Castries.

“Persons with respiratory symptoms and those who are referred from contact tracing can access free COVID-19 testing at this site, Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily,”  a release advised. Patients coming to the location were reminded that a valid form of identification must be presented.

“The mobile testing activity will also focus on health education on the COVID-19 virus including the promotion of infection prevention and control measures.”

Individuals who were tested for COVID-19 at the Vigie Sports Complex, will be contacted by the Community Nursing Service with the test results. “In the interim, you are asked to remain in quarantine until contacted via telephone by a health care worker.”
