Veterans in Sports Inc. CEO Alvin Malaykhan spoke to the VOICE about this weekend’s “Big Boys Showdown” at the PMG noting, “This weekend is going to be epic, with dream matchups. What’s exciting is that for the first year there are no clear cut favourites. Former champions Soufriere Veterans taking on Flow Lancers; Laborie Veterans taking on All Black – Dennery. No one can truly predict who is going to be in the semifinal.

“On Sunday in the first encounter we have Marchand taking on Anse la Raye; both teams play really good and aggressive football and again, anyone can win,” he added.

“The matchup which really stands out for me is Gros Islet Veterans taking on Central Vieux Fort; two really exciting teams to watch,” he said. “Central Vieux Fort may have the edge as they are playing at home, but the pace, energy and technical skills of Gros Islet will be something to contend with.”

From the account of the VISI CEO, it will be exciting this weekend, one way or the other, and all throughout the games there will be giveaways.
