THE Executive and Members of the St Lucia Manufacturers Association have commended the Government of Saint Lucia for working with the business sector, and assisting the sector in reducing operating costs with the new amendment to the VAT legislation.
According to a press statement from the Saint Lucia Manufacturers Association, āThis will go a long way for our local printers who have had to struggle with the classification of their products. At the same time, we would also like to thank them for working with the sector for the implementation of Deferred VAT.ā
The statement continued, āOur members will continually strive to improve the quality of goods and services that we offer to ensure excellence and to make sure that they meet the relevant international standards. We believe that our quest for excellence will provide us with the opportunities to compete worldwide thus helping us remain a significant player in the growth of the GDP of Saint Lucia.ā
