Results in BOSL/LUCELEC CFC Youth Football Tournament

FOOTBALL action continued in the Bank of Saint Lucia / LUCELEC sponsored Castries Football Council (CFC) Youth Football competition at the SAB Playing Facility this past weekend.

Flow lancers had a comfortable 5 – 1 victory over NYAH FC with braces from Mickel St Claire and Torres Harris and the other from Terrel Mercion.

Carter Clauzel scored for NYAH.

In the Under 15 Category, Flow Lancers and GMC United played to a 1 – 1 draw. Michael Daniel scored for Lancers while Josh George scored for GMC.

In another encounter VSADC, got the better of Valley Soccer 2 – 1, with Messiah Pinel scoring both of their goals.

The Sunday fixtures commenced with Under 13 matches as Big Players defeated FC Pioneers 1 – 0 with a KyvanteGernier strike.

In the second game, Flow Lancers FC defeated VSADC 2 – 0 with goals by Keenan Joseph and KacerGuiste, to remain undefeated.

Two matches were played in the Under 18 category. Though dominating the better of the exchanges Flow Lancers FC still went down to New Generations (2 – 1) who got their goals from ShakimHunte and Yanic Noel.

Jared Desir scored from the penalty spot for Lancers FC.

In the other game played, VSADC’s Keegan Caul was in the centre of the action as he scored to help VSADC defeat Valley Soccer Academy 2 – 0. The other goal was scored by Isaiah Modeste.

In the Under 11 division of the CFC Youth Football Tournament, Valley Soccer Academy (VSA) made light work of their City rivals VSADC defeating them 9 – 0.

For VSA, Levi Steide scored a hat trick and braces by Aaron Bent and Tejhon Brown. Their other goal scorers were Christian Sidonie and Rohan Valcin both of whom scored their first competitive goal. The Orange boys were clinical in the second half as they completely dominated the game.

In the Under 13 division, Valley Soccer Academy continued their fine run to date defeating VSADC 3 – 0. Emree Prospere scored a brace with the other goal coming from Daniel Zakhour.

A total of 31 goals were scored this weekend taking the tally to 80 thus far in this year’s tournament.
