THE Sab Playing Facility will come alive with the semifinals and finals of the District 1 Primary Schools Football competion on Thursday 3rd October.
In game 1, Fond Assau will play Monchy while Gros Islet goes up against Boguis in game 2.
Meanwhile, on Friday September 27th, Gros Islet and Monchy Primary Schools easily dominated the proceedings in the competition when play for the Gros Islet Group kicked off at the SAB Playing Facility.
A total of 43 goals were scored including three hat tricks. Gros Islet Primary scored the most goals (15) followed by Monchy’s 12.
Monchy defeated Montessori 7 – 1, with hat tricks from Mervinus Biscette and Cleton Amedee, while Joshua Norley scored the other goal. Sebastian Brent scored for Montessori.
Gros Islet made light work of Grande Riviere 6 – 0, with a hat trick by Andre Perez, a brace (2) by Thierry Morille and the other goal by Traylan Henry.
Dame Pearlette Louisy had a field day against Montessori winning 7 – 1. Keenan Joseph scored a hat trick, Bjorn Fanis a brace with one each from Omarion Edwin and Jakim Raymond. Sebastian Bent pulled one back for Montesorri.
Monchy edged out Grande Riviere 2 – 1, with their goals being scored by NittonDelice and MarvinusBiscette.
Gros Islet strolled past Montesorri 6 – 0, with two goals from Traylan Henry and one each by Jahiem Daniel, Thierry Morille, Devonte Herman and Malik Louis.
Dame Pearlette edged out Monchy 1 – 0 with Taavi Anthony being the lone goal scorer.
Dame Pearlette also got the better of Grande Riviere 2 – 1. Scoring for the winners were Bjorn Fanis and Landon Felicien with Jovanni scoring for Grande Riviere.
Gros Islet and Monchy played to an exciting 1 – 1 draw. Scoring for Gros Islet was D’Andre Perez while Cleton Amedee scored for Monchy.
Montesorri defeated Grand Riviere 1 – 0 with Malik Thomas being the goal scorer.
Gros Islet got the better of Dame Pearlette Louisy 2 – 1, with goals by D’ Andre Perez and Malik Louis while Landon Felicien scored for Dame Pearlette.
