Two Beaver Tricks and Three Hat Tricks in SLFA U-11 and U-13 Quarterfinals

It was goals galore when the quarter finals of both the Saint Lucia Football Association Inc. Under-11 and Under-13 competitions kicked off at the SAB Playing Facility on Saturday 15th June 2019.

Goalkeepers were kept busy between the uprights as a total of forty goals were scored on the day, which included two beaver tricks, three hat tricks, and eight players scoring two goals each.

Valley Soccer Under-11 youngsters delivered an early Father’s Day gift on Saturday 15th June when they defeated El Ninos 9 – 0 at the SAB Playing Field.

The boys from Central Castries whose veins pumped orange dominated the proceedings with a lively and attractive brand of football, in the process entertaining the modest group of parents providing support.

There was a hat trick from Daniel Zakhour in the 7th, 23rd and 26th minute, two goals each from the boots of Omarian Edwin in the 8th and 21st minute, and Urai Clovis in the 29th and 30th minute. The other goals were scored by Alex Devaux in the 9th minute and Jervan Grey in the 31st minute.

In another game played, Northern United All Stars had a field day as they made extremely light work of their opponents Lion Heart, whom they defeated 12 – 0.

Two hat tricks were registered, Traylan Henry in the 7th, 12th and 19th minutes and Thierery in the 10th, 16th and 32nd minutes. There were two goals each from Tevez Evans in the 8th and 30th minutes and Divinte Herman in the 17th and 36th minute.

Rounding up the scoring were De Andre Perez in the 27th minute and Jordan Peter in the 40th minute.

Sanity was temporarily restored on the day with Shamballa getting past T Valley 4 – 1.

The Day’s first beaver trick was returned by Ngozi Marcellin in the 7th, 10th, 17th and 20th minutes.

John Harrow opened the scoring for T Valley in the 5th minute.

The mayhem continued with Lancers emerging victorious in the Under- 13 defeating El Ninos 14 – 0.

Venroy Alfred scored a beaver trick in the 14th, 24th, 43rd and 56th minutes, while there were two goals each from D’Andre Preville in the 16th and 65th minute, Deshaur Paul in the 25th and 67th minute, Noah Ermay in the 26th and 70th minute and Marcus Paul in the 49th and 54th minute.

Ian Baptiste scored in the 69th minute, with an own goal rounding off the scoring.
