Fond Doux’s Chocolate Making Tour happens from 10am on selected week days at the property, with a special EC$100 price tag for locals, which includes walking away with your own creation at the end. Surely, the perfect treat for mom!
If you’re in Soufriere on the actual day, you’ll definitely want to take advantage of Fond Doux’s special Mother’s Day Buffet Lunch. Lunch will be served from 12 pm at the Coco Pod and Bamboo restaurants at the property at a cost of EC$75 per person. This event includes activities for kids, like bouncy castles, face painting and fun contests. Children pay half price to dine. There will be a prize for the Best Dressed Mom, so dress to impress!
This year Fond Doux is also hosting a Mother’s Day Recipe Competition as part of their Mother’s Day event. Though the deadline to submit recipes has passed, the winning announcement will be made this weekend. The first place winner will receive a One Night Stay at the resort for a family of four. Second place gets a Day Pass for two, and third, Dinner for Two!
Breakfast or Brunch at Tapas
You can’t go wrong when choosing to dine at Tapas on the Bay. Meals are always great at this location, and this year for Mother’s Day Tapas located in Rodney Bay will host special Breakfast and Brunch events. The brunch event includes live entertainment by Kenson Hippolyte on piano and vocal from 12 noon. On arrival, guests will be treated to fresh local juice, or an exclusive Spritz cocktail!

Located in stunning Marigot Bay, Doolittle’s restaurant and bar has a special Mother’s Day menu planned for this weekend. If you want to give your mother a treat, stop by the restaurant on Saturday or Sunday to try their exclusive Mother’s Day Menu.
Gospel Jazz Brunch at Shangri-La
Up for some entertainment? Sunday is a great time to take in some jazz – especially as it’s the last day of the annual festival. This year for the finale, organizers have planned a Gospel Jazz Brunch, which features 2x Grammy Nominated ‘The Baylor Project’, Shirleyann Cyril Mayers & God’s Anointed Music Ministry. This event happens at a new venue, the Shangri-La, and includes brunch. Start time is 12 pm!
