The cricket tour by the visiting Everiste Cricket Club of Guyana concluded on March 24 at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground, with rain having the final say leaving the visitors without a win.
Batting first the Northern Masters rattled up 187 for the loss of 3 wickets in 25 overs behind knocks of 78 from Sheldon Thorpe and 73 from John Eugene.
In their turn at the crease Everiste Cricket Club (ECC) going at a quick gallop, raced to 84 without loss in just 8 overs before a steady drizzle chased the players off. Saheed Mohammed entertained with a breezy 60 that included 8x4s,3x6s.

On Saturday 23rd March, Police won by 21 runs.
Batting first, Police scored 170 for the loss of 5 wickets. Craig Stanilaus 41, Ian Mason 39, Irvin Ferdinand 25 and Sheldon Thorpe 23.
Bowling for ECC, Rakesh Gangaram and Basil Persaud picked up two wickets each.
Needing 171 for victory, Evereste CC was bowled out for 149 with Deodat Ramdeo top scoring with 27 and 26 each from Hemraj Garbarran and Imtiaz Sadik.
Bowling for Police, Craig Stanislaus had a good all-round performance, he picked 2 for 18 and Dwayne Palmer took 3 for 10.
On Friday 22nd, Northern Masters won by two wickets with one ball to spare.
Batting first, Everiste CC – 179 for the loss of 7 wickets. Basil Persaud 49, while Rakesh Grangarm and Hemraj Garbarran each contributed 26.
Bowling for Northern Masters, John Eugene picked up 2 for 21, Victor Laurencin 2 for 30, Vincent Mitchell 2 for 24 and Bryan Calixte 1 for 27.
In reply, Northern Masters 180 for the loss of 8 wickets, John Eugene 77, Sheldon Thorpe 39, Bryan Calixte 14 not out.
Bowling for ECC, Saheed Mohammed bagged 3 wickets and 2 wickets each for Ucil Armstrong and Ronald Jaisingh.
Meanwhile, the ECC which was founded in 1914, has produced the likes of Joe Solomon, Rohan Kanhai, Derrick Kallicharan of yester year, while in recent times have produced the likes of Shiv Chanderpaul, Chanderpaul Hemraj and Tagenarine Chanderpaul, to name a few.
