ALL Systems go for the annual Moto X Club Island Ride. The affair is a much anticipated one locally, seeing the participation of riders from across the region. Expect music, good food, and good times at this event which rolls out of town on Sunday, February 24.
“Move out time is expected to be at 10 am from the William Peter Boulevard,” a spokesperson for the Moto X Club stated. “The route remains the same with stops on the outskirts of Anse-la-Raye, in Soufriere for lunch, and Vieux-Fort for fuel and a pit stop. We will be passing through Micoud and Dennery villages before heading back to Castries.”
Organizers encourage members of the public to come out to support their favourite riders and “be part of the magic.” If the success of Friday’s Super Moto event and stunt show is any indication of things to come, this year’s Island Ride is not to be missed.
More action continues for the Club in March 2019, when they officially launch their Motocross season with an inaugural event scheduled for March 3rd in Cul de Sac.
