THE Department of Infrastructure, Ports and Energy has embarked on a project which will help improve road safety.
As of October 1st 2018, Vehicular Guardrails will be installed along the Banannes Bay area near the roundabout leading to the Millennium Highway and along the waterfront opposite the Government Buildings. A total of 345 metres of Guardrails are expected to be erected.
The Department of Infrastructure wishes to inform pedestrians and the motoring public that during the installation process there will be signs and cones placed to help guide users accordingly. The project is expected to be completed within the next week.
All commuters are asked to be cognisant by user information and road signs which will be placed for their information and guidance.
The Department of Infrastructure, Ports and Energy wishes to apologise for any inconveniences which may be caused as a result of this road safety improvements.
