THE new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Invest Saint Lucia, Roderick Cherry, has told reporters here that political interference is one of his concerns as he takes up his new job.
“Political interference is a reality,” Cherry asserted during his first news conference since taking up his appointment.
However, he explained that he is a professional.
“I am not a political person. I have no political affiliations. I will be guided by the best decision that I can make based on my ability, training, experience and what I think is the right thing to do,” the new CEO stated.
He disclosed that his vision for Invest Saint Lucia is simple.
“Invest Saint Lucia must be a world class promotion agency and business enabler,” Cherry said.
