El Aissami stressed that the measure will be maintained until a high-level meeting is sustained with the authorities of the aforementioned islands, in order to finalize an action plan to combat the illegal smuggling of Venezuelan goods by the mafia cartel.

He further assured that the Bolivarian Republic “will not allow anymore aggressions from these criminal organizations”, and calling on sister Caribbean countries to act in defense of the historical relationship that unites them with Venezuela and reaffirming that, “We continue advancing in the Bolivarian diplomacy of peace in search of protection for our sovereignty.”
