HBO’s new dark comedy series, Barry, will premiere in the Caribbean on Sunday, March 25, simultaneously with the United States.
Starring renowned comedian Bill Hader (Saturday Night Live), the series’ first season will feature eight, half-hour episodes. The series also stars Henry Wrinkler, Stephen Root, Sarah Goldberg, Glen Fleshler and Anthony Carrigan.
Barry tells the story of a depressed, low-rent hitman from the Midwest. A lonely and dissatisfied ex-Marine, Barry reluctantly travels to Los Angeles to execute a hit on an aspiring actor. When he follows his target into an acting class, he finds an accepting community in a group of eager hopefuls within the L.A. theater scene. He wants to start a new life as an actor, but his criminal past won’t let him walk away.
Barry was created, executive produced and written by Alec Berg (HBO’s Silicon Valley) and Bill Hader.
