The Civil Status Registry and the Office of the Adjudicator wishes to inform the public that an electrical fault was experienced today, Tuesday, December 5, 2017 which has impacted the computers of the Department and, by extension, impeded the normal operations of both offices. The Fire Service was summoned and is currently undertaking an investigation into the situation.
The Civil Status Registry and the Office of the Adjudicator will, therefore, remain closed for the remainder of today, Tuesday, December 5, until investigations are satisfactorily concluded. The Ministry of Home Affairs, Justice and National Security extend its apologies to the public for any inconvenience caused.
