IN a moment of heightened passion people who argue and debate politics sometimes use words they later regret. Some people speak as if their lives depended on it. They can even engage in more than one debate or argument at a time. Why do people so often resent what they cannot change? Why do people who cannot handle defeat persist with politics? Sore losers seem to carry a load of mistrust, hatred and often spew profanities attacking their perceive enemies.
Where does this deep feeling of hatred come from? It can only come from an unhappy childhood, hardening with age. Adults who cannot put aside an undesirable outcome lack the ability to lose gracefully. These sore losers are evidence of an unhappy childhood due to neglect, poverty, hunger and abuse. These issues manifest themselves as self-hate and a lack of love.
There are those who will not readily accept Allen Chastanet as Prime Minister. These self-haters are afraid to look within themselves because they fear confronting their demons. Their crude and vulgar words say more about them than others. They hide behind their shame using phony names as shield. Like a parasitic organism they need a host in order to survive. To reply to their diatribe is similar to providing an environment for a harmful virus or bacteria. But enlightenment demands intervention!
In this regard, one ought to comment objectively on the things these losers say while disregarding their lewd and distasteful insults. Their coarseness and vulgarity betray an inferiority complex. Closer examination will reveal that the UWP is more than a political party. It is an institution.
