The final semi-final spot in the 2016 Ministry of Youth Development and Sports Secondary Schools Under – 15 Cricket Tournament goes to Choiseul Secondary which earned a nine wicket victory over Anse Ger Secondary at the Piaye Playing Field on Thursday.
Anse Ger Secondary taking first knock struggled against good penetrative bowling from Choiseul Secondary and was dismissed for 61 in 13.3 overs, with Niaus Neptune (14), the only batsman to reach double figures.
Seam bowler, Sky La Feuille led the charge for Choiseul Secondary with standout figures of 6 for 30, while Kurvey Rosemond lent good support with 3 for 25.
Choiseul Secondary in reply made light work of the total, finishing on 62 for 1 in 10.5 overs, with La Feuille remaining on 22 not out.
The four semi-final teams in seeded order are – Micoud Secondary, Choiseul Secondary, Entrepot Secondary and St. Mary’s College. On Monday weather permitting Micoud Secondary will play St. Mary’s College at the Gros Islet Playing Field, while Entrepot Secondary takes on Choiseul Secondary at the Dennery Playing Field.
