Love Your Country, Choose Wisely

AFTER hearing the Prime Minister’s address, before he announced the elections, we decided to compare the two men and their parties. We are definitely betting on Allen. We must have a change. It cannot be more of the Kenny Anthony way. That did not work at all. This is some of what we came up with.

Allen Chastanet (UWP) : Son of a successful businessman

Kenny Anthony (SLP): Son of a plantation owner with a Massa mentality

Chastanet: A successful businessman with a business mind employing hundreds of employees.

Anthony: A failed lawyer who has mismanaged the St. Lucian economy each time he got in power.

Chastanet: Was taken to court by the government for $28,000 in a case without merit.

Anthony: Rochamel – US$14 million guarantee given by Kenny and St. Lucia got no shares in exchange; Grynberg- US$500 million breach of contract claim looming over our head; Lambirds- human trafficking scandal in which documents for approving the school were signed by ministers of the Labour government (in the absence of the Governor General) with no due diligence. Questions still remain as to who got what?; AIMU – School never had a licence to operate in St. Lucia (and the matter is currently in the courts); IMPACS Report – Kenny still refusing to release it? Who is he protecting?; Juffali – Diplomatic status sold like common goods. Where de money gone? International scandal resulting in St. Lucia’s name now muddied; Chagoury– Born Lebanese but has a St. Lucia passport stating that he was born in St Lucia.

Chastanet: Has assisted St Lucians for over 25 years, even before being in politics and then whether or not his party was in power.

Anthony: Only assists when his government is in power, especially when election time is near.

Chastanet: He fixed his party and we like what he did, so we will are giving him the chance to show us what he has in mind for the country.

Anthony: Has been in power three times and what is his legacy each time but empty promises, last minute contracts and more empty promises.

Chastanet: Led our nation in prayer for relief

Anthony: Gave Lucians rum and chicken and played games on Sandy Beach that same day.

Chastanet: Goes to various churches to pray with the people and brought back prayer to Cabinet after SLP lost the previous election.

Anthony: No known religious affiliation but rumours abound

Chastanet: His party condemns rape and violence against women and children.

Anthony: His Minister for Justice and Security says, “You call it rape, but I don’t,” and two of his candidates had rape charges filed against them, not to mention another two of his party executives who have rape and sexual assault allegations against them.

Chastanet: Created policies to decrease taxes on the every man which means a better economy for all and more savings for everyone.
Anthony: Increased taxes on the every man which has already strained the economy, increased poverty, increased loss of property, increased foreclosure on homes and businesses and ultimately ruined our economy.

Chastanet: Married a local businesswoman with strong family values.

Anthony: Married a foreigner who facilitated the hosting of a witches conference here.

Chastanet: He put in place policies and the ‘’5 to stay alive’’ for immediate relief for the unemployed, for the poor, for those who are in danger of losing their homes, the children going to school and their parents.

Anthony: Immature, irresponsible and shameful Lorne Theophilus called Mr Chastanet a faggot.

Jadia Jn Pierre said that he was too white, trying to promote a racist agenda in St Lucia.

Allen Chastanet does not respond in kind to their low-down insults. He could, for instance, have called some of them liar or thief or rapist or any other name, but he did not. He is above that.

Philip J Pierre,cwho has the biggest chip on his shoulder, made fun of his accent (yet we are asking our children to stop bullying). Where is the example?

Allen Chastanet has never declared war on anybody and never will. He is full of positivity and light not aggression and anger like Kenny.

Kenny Anthony ridiculously declared war on a St Lucian family – the Chastanet family, a family which has made an enormous contribution to this country. Why? Because Allen Chastanet decided to exercise his God-given right to try to rescue his country from the disaster that Kenny has created.
