PonmDamouKreations presents the finals of the 2015 PonmDamou Poetry Slam.
The event which started on November 5 climaxes on Thursday, at 7:00 p.m. at the Arts Cafe at the Aquarius Crossing at the corner of St Louis and Coral Streets.
The competition which had a total of 20 participants this year, has qualified eight poets for the finals. They are Ethan Fletcher, Ejaz Francis, Tyisha Charles, Christian Joseph, Jarron ‘Black Crayon’ Alexander, Gregory Glasgow, Kyvon Edwin and Dwayne ‘Deforde’ Forde.
The preliminaries in this competition have been free but the finals attracts an admission of $20. Tickets can be purchased at the venue.
The competitors are playing for a top prize of $1000 and a second prize of a Budget smart phone sponsored by PhoneBay.
