NATIONAL Under – 19 captain and right arm spinner Dornan Edward bagged a career best for 14 in 5.2 overs as Grenada were dismissed for 98 runs in in the final round of matches of the Windward Islands Goodwill Senior Cricket Tournament in St Vincent on Tuesday.

Playing for pride, bottom of the table St. Lucia took on third-placed Grenada at Sion Hill, while host St.Vincent and the Grenadines and Dominica played for the championship at the Arnosvale Grounds.

Batting first Grenada was dismissed for 98 in 45.2 overs with Roland Cato top scoring with 37.

Bowling for St. Lucia Edward was the main destroyer with 5 for 14, while Dalton Polius picked up 2 for 22 in 18 overs.

In reply, St. Lucia closed the day on 192 for the loss of 7 wickets in 48.4 overs, a lead of 94 runs. Scoring for St.Lucia West Indies ODI opening batman Johnson Charles (60), Craig Emmanuel (34), while Edward continued his good run of form with 23 not out. Vice CaptainKeddyLesporis had to retire hurt on 19, having injured his left hand while batting.

Bowling for Grenada Denis George had 4 for 54.
