THE Saint Lucia Social Development Fund (SSDF) has made donations to three charitable organizations, to assist them with their operations.
The Feed the Poor Ministry, the Soufriere Soup Kitchen, and the Mongouge Club 60 Adult Day Care Centre were the recipients of monetary donations from the SSDF with a combined value of EC$20,500.00.
Mr. Harold Dalson, Minister for Social Transformation, Local Government and Community Empowerment expressed government’s support for the initiatives undertaken by these organizations.
He intimated his Ministry’s intention to continue strengthening the capacity of similar groups, through partnership with the SSDF, and with the support of the Ministry of Finance.
Mayor of Soufriere, Mr. Darnel Bob, said that while the responsibility of taking care of the poor has traditionally been left to government, it has been encouraging to witness, of late, the private sector’s increase in support.

When Ambassador Shen here in Sydney as a Director General, with his leadership Taiwanese Community have achieved lots of mission possible and charities. To support his work and good deeds, I want to lend a helping hand to your lovely country and donate $2,000 in Australian dollars across few projects I think it needs fund.
Can you introduce few projects to me? so I can see and decide which one more urgent and I have passion with.
