M&C Helps Fight Cerebral Palsy

M&C Group of Companies has made a monetary donation of $2,500 to the Cerebral Palsy Association, a non-profit organisation, focused on assisting and advocating for people affected by Cerebral Palsy.

Cerebral Palsy is impaired muscular power and coordination from brain damage that usually occurs at birth. The Cerebral Palsy Association focuses on gaining adaptive equipment to help the children enhance their quality of life. They offer information, counselling, therapies and respite support to children and families who are victims of different degrees of cerebral Palsy.

Ms. Stevie Theophane of the M&C Marketing Department, commented “with this donation we are proud to show our support of the Cerebral Palsy Association and their work to enhance the well-being of children with health challenges”.

One of the founders of the Cerebral Palsy Association, Ms. Diane Leonce, expressed appreciation for the donation which she described as timely and said that it will go a long way to helping the organisation achieve some of its initiatives.
