THE Miss Eduval pageant takes place this Friday at the National Cultural Centre at 2:00 p.m.
The theme for this year’s show is “Eduval: The Educative Festivals Experience–It is ours, let us own it’.
This is an edutainment programme geared to expose and teach students about aspects of the Carnival cultural form as well as provide an opportunity for performance.
The competition will comprise the following categories: an Opening Number; Introduction (Ambassadorial Speech); Talent; Ole Mass costume presentation; Evening Wear appearance and a Question section based on the history of Carnival.
For Friday’s pageant six Secondary schools have confirmed their participation. They are: -Babonneau Secondary – Joan Amedee; Ciceron Secondary – Sandrina Charles; Clendon Mason Secondary – April Dulis; Grande Riviere Secondary – Juanita Lloyd; Gros Islet Secondary – Candice Jean and Castries Comprehensive Secondary – Kimberly Ashley
