Boguis School Is 50

THE Boguis Roman Catholic Primary School burst in colours of gold and green to celebrate the school’s 50th Anniversary recently.

The Babonneau-based school invited teachers and students, well-wishers and M.P. Alvina Reynolds to help celebrate their grand achievement.

The ceremonies began with a mass at the assembly hall where the presiding priest blessed all with hopes and good wishes for the year. Principal Marina Julian-Joseph led over the awards ceremony where she gave the principal’s address.

The proceedings were supported by several past principals and teachers who gave out awards and made speeches.

The students were not to be outdone, and used the opportunity to unveil the new school song. The children sang the tribute to their Alma Mater with gusto, accompanied by Ms.Moriguchi, a Japanese volunteer in Music for Education Office, District One.

Boguis R.C. Primary School wishes to thank the staff, past students and principals, LUCELEC and all well-wishers for their support in celebrating their golden jubilee.
