Having visited St Lucia many times previously, Gentles fell in love with the island and decided to take his brand and business here with an inaugural live show in St Lucia.
“St Lucia is a beautiful place and I could not think of a better place to host my very first ‘OMG Fest’, said CEO Kurt Gentles. “It has been a very long time Taurus Riley has performed in St Lucia and he is looking forward to singing all his great hits at the event. Having the legendary Tanya Stephens perform at our very first OMG Fest was a blessing also. These two reggae legends complement each other and promise a show of a life time”, Kurt further explained.
To add to the value of the show everyone coming into Samaans Park will receive a free drink and when leaving the event at the end of the performances everyone will be able to walk away with a free soup.
“Digicel is looking forward to this highly anticipated event. Partnering with One Time Music Group for the first ever OMG Fest in St Lucia is essential as their unique and diverse line-up boasts local, regional and international acts, who will perform a culmination of Reggae, Hip Hop and Groovy music” explained Sergin John Baptiste, Public Relations and Communications Executive for Digicel.
“Massive handset giveaways can be expected from Digicel at the show as well as an entertaining and thrilling time for the thousands expected to be part of this exciting event”, she further added.
St Lucians can look out for performances by the Evolucian Band with Arthur Ricky, St Lucia’s Meshach, Dean Fraser and the Black Soil band, Tarrus Riley, Tanya Stephens, Dupes out of Martinique, Rex out of the USA and more.
