One man is feared dead by relatives and friends after he was shot in broad daylight in the Gros Islet community.
Quick responders of the Saint Lucia Fire Service and Officers of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force were on Sunday afternoon alerted to a distress call in Gros Islet.
One man lay motionless on the road at the corner of Dauphin and Marie Therese Street and appeared to have suffered multiple gunshot wounds about his body.
“It was a drive-by shooting”, a source informed The Voice. Despite the area being well-populated, no one seemed to have caught a glimpse of the shooter in the vehicle.
