The United Workers Party Government has usually marked its anniversary of being in office with a Church Service, and this year was no exception. Party leader and Prime Minister Honourable Allen Chastanet spent the evening of June 6th 2019 at the Odsan Pentecostal Church with his Cabinet of Ministers and with supporters and well-wishers of the United Workers Party. The evening was all about giving thanks for the last three years and to bless the way forward for the Administration. The church was filled with yellow-clad supporters, who sang, hugged and shared in the joy of the occasion. The United Workers Party was elected with a majority of 11-6 and has faced tough opposition since being elected to Government. In the wake of this the Party also published over 100 achievements on its website and has maintained that it is on the right track having recorded Economic Growth and a drop in unemployment. The Party will on Sunday, June 9th hold a public meeting in Soufriere.
