Determined to top its 2018 staging, Magnum Xplosion will return to the picturesque St. Lucia with some of the biggest names in Reggae and Dancehall in tow. The brand, which orchestrated one of the largest dancehall shows to ever hit the island, stamped its dominance last year with Ding Dong, Aidonia and Busy Signal gracing the Magnum Xplosion stage. Promising an even larger execution this year, the event returns to the Pigeon Island National Landmark on Saturday, June 1.
Confirmed for the concert are the New Dancing King Ding Dong, The Queen of Dancehall, Spice, and living reggae-dancehall legend, Sizzla. The trio is a powerful and dynamic mixture of reggae and dancehall, as their collective catalogue has a diverse range of strong dance hits, hard-hitting social commentary and female empowerment tunes.
“Artiste selection for each territory is a very big part of the process when planning events of this magnitude,” said Kamal Powell, the brand’s Marketing Manager for the region. “We have done our research, and we are confident that these respective powerhouses will deliver the best experience to our consumers and patrons in St Lucia. With two massively successful concert stagings already in the bag for 2019, we are positive that St Lucia will not only replicate but surpass the events recently held in both Barbados and Guyana.”
With local St Lucian artistes, disc jockeys, and Magnum dancers slated to perform as well, coupled with product deals and giveaways, Magnum Xplosion St Lucia promises explosive entertainment for all over the legal drinking age.
