A GALA awards ceremony held on Saturday, March 9 saw several local business being honoured by the Management and staff of the Yello Media Group. The All Inclusive Business Appreciation & Awards was held at the Sandals Grande Beach Resort & Spa. The cocktail event featured live entertainment from local soca sensation Arthur Allain and band, and on the evening, management of Yello took the opportunity to thank invited guests for their longstanding support of the company, particularly those who had advertised for over 40 years. The recognition was timely, and in tune with Saint Lucia’s just observed 40th anniversary of independence.
After an evening of dinner and dance, awards went to LUCELEC, the Julian R Hunte Group of Companies, East Caribbean General Insurances, Windward Island Gases, J.E. Bergasse and Company, Peter and Company, 1st National Bank, Scotia Bank, Johnson’s Hardware, West Indies General, Crick’s Funeral Service, Michael’s Customs Brokers, M&C Group of Companies, Atwell Dalgliesh Company and The VOICE Publishing Company.
