THE final round of qualifiers in the 2017 Blackheart Knockout Football Tournament takes place on Sunday at the Laborie Playing Field.
Choiseul will come up against Vieux Fort North from 2.00 p.m. while at 4.00 p.m. Laborie will square off against Mon Repos.
The qualifiers continued last weekend at the Mon Repos, Desruisseaux and Choiseul playing fields. Last week Saturday, Mon Repos hosted Vieux Fort North whom they defeated 2-1. Choiseul entertained Laborie with the two teams playing to a goalless draw.
The action shifted to Desruisseaux last Sunday with a double-header. In the first encounter, Roseau Valley and Babonneau played to an exciting goalless draw while Desruisseaux came from a 1-0 deficit to defeat South Castries 3-1.
According to organizers, the finals of the playoffs are carded for August 20 at a venue to be determined and announced in the coming days.
