Home Team of Curacao won the first place for both the boys and girls teams with Barbados coming in second place and Aruba placing third for the girl’s team. For the Boys it was Jamaica placing third followed by St. Lucia placing third.
The team was coached by Alberton Richelieu Jr. who said: “I am very proud of the way St. Lucia was represented on and off the court by the players. The team spirit and fighting attitude were positive and highly competitive. I would like to say congratulations to the boys in a big way because for the first time St. Lucia has qualified to go to Mexico to compete against the best from Central America.
