Bay Gardens Resorts, a locally owned and managed hotel group in Saint Lucia, has made a generous contribution of US$5,000 to the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association’s (CHTA) “One Caribbean” Solidarity Initiative, aiding Jamaica’s recovery efforts following the devastation of Hurricane Melissa.
This initiative encourages hotels and tourism service providers throughout the region to pledge a portion of their bookings to support affected areas. The funds raised will specifically assist small and independent tourism businesses, community-based operators, and workforce recovery needs in Jamaica—all of which have been significantly impacted by the storm.
For Bay Gardens Resorts, this participation underscores a long-standing belief in the power of unity within the Caribbean. The hotel group, known for its commitment to authentic hospitality and strong community ties, recognizes that the strength of one Caribbean destination is intrinsically connected to the overall resilience of the region.
This donation contributes to a growing pool of regional support mobilized under the “One Caribbean” banner, with participation from hotels, tour operators, and hospitality businesses across various Caribbean territories.
Bay Gardens Resorts continues to welcome guests to its four properties in the heart of Rodney Bay, Saint Lucia, upholding a responsible and community-focused approach to hospitality since its inception.
