2026 Independence 501 Classic Kicks Off

This week marked the launch of the first team event of the 2026 Independence 501 Classic at Ours Bar.

In a thrilling match, the Untouchables played against the Stallions, with the contest remaining tight throughout.

Ultimately, it was the Untouchables who claimed victory, finishing the night with a score of 5-4.

Here are the results of the Mixed Triples games:
– Barry Mathurin, Shervon Montoute, and Catherine Clermont defeated Haig Louis, Marcus Toussient, and Marcia Norvill (2-1).

Mixed Doubles:
– Haig Louis and Marcia Norvill defeated Barry Mathurin and Kira Mills (2-0).

Men’s Doubles:
– Haig Louis and Marcus Toussient defeated Martin Charlemagne and Philip Branford (2-0).
– Barry Mathurin and Shervon Montoute defeated Cuthbert Tony and Jonathan Emmanuel (2-0).

Ladies Singles:
– Marcia Norvill defeated Catherine Clermont (2-0). **

Men’s Singles:
– Barry Mathurin defeated Jonathan Emmanuel (2-0).
– Haig Louis defeated Shervon Montoute (2-0).
– Marcus Toussient defeated Martin Charlemagne (2-0).
– Philip Branford defeated Cuthbert Tony (2-1).

The next team event is scheduled for Thursday night at Different P’s, featuring Marchand Amazona vs. Renegades, starting at 7:00 PM.
