The Cultural Development Foundation (CDF) proudly congratulates Keril Victor, winner of Male Artiste of the Year at the inaugural ACIE Awards in Taiwan.
“This prestigious achievement is a moment of immense pride for Saint Lucia, as Keril continues to raise the bar in Taiwan with a distinctive fusion of Caribbean soul and Taiwanese musical influences. His artistry exemplifies creativity without borders and highlights the global reach of Saint Lucian talent,” CDF said yesterday.
Victor’s passion for music began at the age of eight when he sang in the choir of his local church. Over the years, his talent and love of singing led him to perform in school and theatre productions as well as national and Caribbean regional events. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Brian Mc Knight, John Legend, Michael Jackson and Phil Collins, Keril performs a range of musical styles including jazz, reggae and gospel, and has carried these influences into songwriting and production. His single “Running Back” was produced in Taiwan in collaboration with one of the country’s rising young artists, MeloMoon.
“Honored and grateful to receive Best Male Artist of the Year at the Historic ACIE Awards in Taiwan. To everyone who has supported me — my team, collaborators, friends, family, and every listener this belongs to all of us. This is only the beginning. More music coming soon,” Victor said in a post.
The ACIE Awards Gala Night is a prestigious celebration honoring outstanding individuals and organizations making remarkable contributions across culture, innovation, leadership, creativity, and excellence within the international community in Taiwan.
This elegant gala brings together leaders, creatives, entrepreneurs, athletes, educators, and change-makers for an unforgettable evening of recognition, inspiration, and connection.
