Gros Islet maintained its unbeaten run with a comfortable 2 – 0 victory over Soufriere, as the SLFA Under 12 Boys competition continued, on Saturday, August, 9.
The northern-based youngsters scored on either side of the half from Suarez Charles in the 23rd, and Jahni Auguste in the 46th minute .
Meanwhile, Central Castries and Desruisseaux played to a goalless draw.
The action continued with three scheduled matches on Sunday, 10th August.
Mabouya Valley consolidated their position at the top of the table with a comfortable 2 – 0 over Vieux Fort South; with goals from Deshawn Leon and Vjay Edwin in the 39th & 60th minute, respectively.
Roseau Valley, with goals from Jeani Joseph, a brace in the 26th & 36th minutes; David Fitz 23rd, and Yannrell Estaphane, defeated Anse La Raye 4 – 0.
In the weekend’s final game, Dennery secured their first win in the competition with a 3 – 0 victory over Mon Repos.
Roshan Henry scored an own goal in the 9th minute , while Liam James converted a penalty in the 14th, and Aiden Biscette netted in the 23rd minute.
