SLFA to Host National Talent ID Camp with U.S. College Scout

The Saint Lucia Football Association Inc. (SLFA) is set to host a highly anticipated National Talent Identification (ID) Camp from July 22 to 24, 2025, at the SLFA Technical Centre in Mabouya Valley, Dennery.

The camp will run daily from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon and presents a significant opportunity for young footballers across the island.

In a major boost for aspiring athletes, the SLFA has invited Coach Anthony Roy from the United States of America to be part of this year’s camp. Coach Roy, along with other evaluators, will be scouting local talent with the intention of recommending promising players to U.S. colleges and universities.

According to the SLFA, this initiative aligns with its ongoing mission to develop football on the island and create pathways for young athletes to access educational and athletic opportunities abroad.

The SLFA is encouraging all interested clubs and footballers to take advantage of this unique opportunity by attending the Talent ID Camp.

For more information, participants are advised to contact the SLFA or visit the Technical Centre directly during the camp period.
