Bounty Rum’s association with Saint Lucia Carnival goes back many decades. Its commitment especially to community carnivals is unmatched.
“We are supporting in so many different ways, everything from the community carnivals to a lot of the Main Stage events,” declared St Lucia Distillers Marketing Manager, Sergin David.
Bounty Rum’s sponsorship for carnival 2024 is islandwide and all-embracing – ranging from mainstage to community events, carnival fetes and now includes a celebration of social media influencers. The Bounty Ambassadors were presented as they too provide “a lot of visuals from the social media standpoint,” said David.
“We make it a point to give to the communities, because they need it a little more than the Main Stage carnival,” she added.
There was also the official unveiling of a commemorative label for a limited release of the carnival edition of Bounty Rum – artwork created by Naja Sakey Simeon, artist and designer of the Bounty Rum Commemorative Label.
Said Simeon: “The artwork is making its way onto products. Initially, the main aim with the Outer Gallery is to put art into public spaces and now the art is making its way into people’s homes.”
He said, “it’s a good thing,” while expressing appreciation for the support of St Lucia Distillers for promoting the artwork.
