Piton Malta “Nourishing Futures” Campaign Helps Feed Families in Need

Piton Malta, a leading brand under Heineken St. Lucia Ltd., under its “Nourishing Futures” campaign has officially launched a pivotal initiative aimed at supporting families across Saint Lucia who struggle to meet their nutritional needs. This new corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative aligns with the brand’s long-standing commitment to community support and social welfare.

The “Help Feed a Family in Need” project is designed to address the urgent food needs of families in the community. Through the concerted efforts of Piton Malta, alongside the dedicated employees of Heineken Saint Lucia Ltd. (HKSL) and Southern Distributors Inc. (SDI), this initiative provides essential food items and grocery vouchers to those most vulnerable.

Each quarter, four families are carefully vetted and chosen to receive a month’s supply of basic food necessities and $500 worth of grocery vouchers sponsored by Piton Malta.  HKSL & SDI employees also participate by providing generous personal contributions of essential food items, furthering the collective impact of the initiative.

Fern Wilson-Jean, Category Manager-Malts at Piton Malta, remarked on the initiative: “Piton Malta has always been committed to giving back to our communities. Through the collective efforts of our brand and the staff of HKSL and SDI, it is our hope that we can help cultivate community and togetherness.
