Social workers from the Ministry of Equity and Social Justice have embarked on an innovative and worthwhile venture to assist disadvantaged youth in the country on the rudiments of being gainfully employed.
The career guidance seminar was created to tackle daily social issues that young people face. This program specifically focuses on young individuals who are unemployed and are looking to gain experience in the hospitality sector.
The main objective of the programme is to develop the skills required to excel in the world of work. The programme is facilitated by Youth Workers Kenier Barthelmy and Shem Hippolyte.
The facilitators acknowledge the input of Sandals Regency La Toc for their continued support in making the programme a success, and Benette Charles for his role as a presenter.
