Defending champions Saint Lucia released the names of the squad to compete in this year’s 2023 Windward Islands WINLOTT 50 Over Cricket Tournament, which began in St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) on December 12 and continues till December 17.
Last Friday, the Ministry of Youth Development and Sports released the names of the 14 Under-15 cricketers to represent Saint Lucia in the ongoing competition.
The team will be captained by returning player from the 2022 Champion Team, all-rounder Sheldon Willie. The vice-captain is another returning player from last year’s victorious team, top order LH batter/RA off spinner Zinakki Louis.
Two 12-year olds are also part of this year’s team. Right arm seam bowler/RH middle order batter Jean Claude Emmanuel and RA swing bowler/lower order RH batter Kaleb Charles.

Kanil Nelson (Top order LH batter/Right arm Off spinner),
Neil Poyotte (Top order LH batter/Right arm off spinner),
Aiden Scholar (Top order RH batter/Left arm Chinaman),
Jermian Thomas (Top order RH batter/Wicket Keeper/Right arm Off spinner), Kareem Francis (Top order RH batter/Right arm Off spinner), Daniel Lorde (Top order RH batter/Right arm Off spinner), Kyle Stephen (Middle Order RH batter/Right arm Off spinner), Nathaniel Joseph (Right arm seam bowler/Middle Order LH batter, Jeanille Williams (Left arm spinner/Middle Order RH batter and Cayden Francois (Right arm leg spinner/Lower order RH batter.
The National Under-15 team will again be coached by Alton Crafton with Junior Derose serving as Assistant Coach/ Manager.
