St. Lucian sprint sensation Julien Alfred has signed a deal with sports company PUMA, becoming the latest addition to its athletics family.
The 22-year-old, who will compete in PUMA products starting from this week’s Diamond League in Monaco, has been dominating the track scene over the past 18 months, winning seven NCAA titles, a Commonwealth Games silver medal, and a Central American and Caribbean Games gold medal. She also made history by becoming the first woman in NCAA history to run under seven seconds at 60 metres indoors, and the second fastest of all time at both 60 and 200 metres.
