SunSwept Resorts recognised the academic achievements and educational aspirations of its team members’ children at the President’s Academic Scholarship and Educational Encouragement Grant presentation on Saturday, 26 September 2026, at Thyme Restaurant, StolenTime.

Over XCD$103,800 was awarded through the initiative in the form of 28 scholarships and 11 educational grants—a total of 39 awards—supporting students as they take the next steps in their education.

The occasion brought together students and their families to celebrate dedication, recognise progress and encourage continued learning. Through these scholarships and grants, SunSwept Resorts rewards academic excellence and provides access to additional tutoring support, helping students develop their abilities and build confidence.

Among those recognised was Lee Inglis, a student at St. Mary’s College who achieved a result of 95.8% in the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) examination. Lee is the son of Nicholas Inglis, who works in the Food & Beverage department at StolenTime. His achievement reflected the hard work celebrated throughout the presentation.

“At the heart of SunSwept Resorts’ story are the people who bring BodyHoliday and StolenTime to life. Our commitment to wellbeing has always been about helping people thrive, and that commitment extends to our team members and their families. Through these scholarships and educational grants, we recognise young people’s dedication and give them support to pursue their ambitions. As a company rooted in Saint Lucia, we believe our legacy should be measured not only by the experiences we create for our guests, but also by the opportunities we help create for the next generation.”  said Mr. Andrew Barnard, CEO of Sunswept Resorts.

For parents balancing their professional responsibilities with supporting their children’s education, the initiative represents a practical investment in what matters deeply to their families.

SunSwept Resorts, the parent company of BodyHoliday and StolenTime, places CARE at the centre of its commitment to its people. Supporting team members’ children extends that commitment beyond the workplace, connecting employee wellbeing with opportunities for the next generation.

The initiative also reflects the contribution hospitality businesses can make to Saint Lucia’s development by investing in their people and families. Educational support can help young learners build the skills, confidence and aspirations that will shape the island’s future.
