DNA Analysis Confirms Identity of Human Remains

After an extensive investigation, law enforcement officials have confirmed that the remains discovered near Pigeon Point Beach, Gros Islet, belong to Schneik Phillip.

On November 2023, the Babonneau Police Station received a report regarding the disappearance of Schneik Phillip, aged 33.

Then, in August 2024, police responded to a report of human remains found in the area. The remains were collected and sent for DNA analysis to verify the identity.

On September 11, 2026, the results were received, officially confirming that the remains are those of Schneik Phillip.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death is ongoing. The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force extends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Schneik Phillip.

A spokesperson for the RSLPF stated, “We continue to appeal to anyone with information that could assist with the investigation to contact the Gros Islet Police Station at 456-3830.”
