The National Power & Groovy Soca Monarch Semi-Finals are coming up in a few days. 9 finalists per category will move on to challenge reigning Power Soca champion, Dezral and Jardel and Groovy Soca champion, Nerdy.

National Calypso Monarch Semi-Finals
Following four electrifying quarter-final Calypso shows, 18 calypsonians have earned their spot in the semi-final round of the annual Calypso Monarch Competition. At the Semi-final stage, nine calypsonians will be selected to compete against the defending monarch: Dezral, for the 2026 Calypso Monarch title.
