The 2026 Saint Lucia International Masters Football Invitational Championships concluded in spectacular fashion at the Daren Sammy Cricket Grounds (DSCG) after five days of intense competition, drawing enthusiastic crowds and generating excitement among local and international fans.
Organized by Veterans in Sports (VIS) Inc., this sixth edition of the Masters Football competition took place from May 20 to 25 at the DSCG. The event showcased captivating soccer action and provided entertainment for attendees, with live streaming reaching a broader audience in the diaspora.
While the event faced intermittent showers, particularly on Sunday, there were thrilling matches played simultaneously on pitches #1 and #2 throughout the week.
The thrilling climax occurred on Monday, where decisive matches determined the championship title winners.

Over 50 Main Championship:
– Champion: Pele Masters defeated Masters Reloaded International 1-0.
Over 50 Plate Championship:
– Champion: Gros Islet Legends edged out CARICOM Masters 5-4 in a dramatic penalty shootout after a 0-0 draw at the end of regulation time.
Over 50 Third Place Playoffs:
– Labowi Connexions triumphed over Vieux Fort South Masters with a score of 2-0.
– Third Place Winners:
La Familia (Canada) claimed victory against Dennery United FC, winning 3-0.

In a thrilling “mini-derby” between two visiting Trinidad and Tobago teams, Forever Ballers emerged victorious over Defense Force with a score of 2-1, securing the win with two goals from the penalty spot.
Over 40 Plate Final:
Barataria Alumni (USA) bested Micoud United FC 2-1 in a fiercely contested match.
Over 40 Third Place Playoffs:
Hope International FC (SVG) defeated St Francois Masters (T&T) 3-0.
– Plate Third Place:
Sunrise Masters (Barbados) triumphed over Nationality Soccer Club (SVG) with a score of 3-0.
