Blackheart Boys U-20 Move Into Qualifiers

Exciting action is on the horizon as the 2026 SLFA Inc. / Blackheart District League Boys Under 20 Knockout competition continues next weekend.

The popular ‘off-season’ tournament, which commenced on May 16 at the Phillip Marcellin Grounds (PMG) in Vieux Fort, promises another set of thrilling matches.

The fixtures for May 29 at the PMG in Vieux Fort are as follows:

– Choiseul vs. Mabouya Valley – 7:00 PM
– Canaries vs. Winner P1

On May 31:

– La Clery vs. Winner P2
– Soufriere vs. Anse La Raye

In the latest round of matches, South Castries and Vieux Fort South have successfully advanced to the quarterfinals of the SLFA Inc. / Blackheart District League Boys Under 20 Knockout competition after facing tough challenges this week.

On Wednesday, the round of 16 continued at the Phillip Marcellin Grounds, featuring thrilling encounters.

In the first match, South Castries secured a 2-0 victory over Central Castries, with Tyler St. Rose scoring in the 12th minute and Armani Lesmond in the 49th minute, allowing South Castries to move into the quarterfinals.

In the final match of the day, Vieux Fort South maintained a strong performance against Mon Repos, leading 2-0 at halftime and ultimately winning 3-2. Goal scorers for Vieux Fort South included Jeremie Toussaint in the 4th minute, Seth Reneau with an own goal in the 12th minute, and Tristan Alphonse in the 62nd minute.

Mon Repos fought back with a brace from Andreas Charlery, who scored in the 90th minute and added another in the second minute of stoppage time.
