In just three weeks, the Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival 2026 will make its grand return, offering an electrifying blend of global superstars, local talent, arts, culture, and community celebrations across the island.
Kicking off on April 30—World Jazz Day—the festival features performances by TEMS, Billy Ocean, Capleton, Ella Mai, Skip Marley, Beverley Knight, and a spectacular finale with Brandy & Monica.
This year’s festival is set to be one of the most vibrant yet.

In addition to the musical performances, the festival will showcase Community Jazz, Art & the City, culinary delights, and a special theatrical production by Travis Weekes, transforming Saint Lucia into a month-long celebration of culture and creativity.
Meanwhile, Saint Lucia recently honored tourism excellence at the 4th annual Gimies Tourism Awards, recognizing 38 awardees across the island’s tourism sector, from accommodation providers to frontline service professionals.
The celebration comes as Saint Lucia reports a strong start to 2026, with stayover arrivals reaching 76,227 in January and February combined—surpassing both 2025 and pre-pandemic 2019 levels.
This growth is driven by demand from the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean. Cruise tourism has also seen impressive performance, with 270,452 arrivals year-to-date, including a record 150,232 in January and 120,220 in February. Yacht arrivals totaled 9,931, bringing overall visitor arrivals to 356,930 for the period.
Despite global economic pressures and shifts in airline capacity in long-haul markets such as the UK and Europe, Saint Lucia continues to demonstrate resilience. The stayover segment remains robust, bolstered by strong airlift, higher visitor spending, and sustained demand.
Occupancy rates average 72%, and the Average Daily Rate (ADR) significantly exceeds 2019 levels.
SLTA’s CEO, Louis A. E. Lewis, emphasized the Authority’s commitment to agility and stakeholder engagement to maximize opportunities within the sector.
Looking ahead, the SLTA will launch a Quarterly Tourism Impact Report to provide deeper insights into the industry’s economic contributions, as the destination strives for continued growth through strategic marketing, diversification, and partnerships.
