The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) celebrated the graduation of 132 recruits during the recent Course 39 Passing Out Parade, held at the Police Training Academy in La Toc, Castries.
This cohort included 80 police recruits, 20 city constabulary recruits, and 17 correctional officers, all of whom have successfully completed rigorous training in preparation for their service.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Dr. Mashama Sealy, ACP of Corporate Service and Strategic Operations, commended the officers for their dedication to their duties and their continued contributions to strengthening the institution. She emphasized the importance of partnership in advancing the RSLPF’s shared mission.
“Today is a powerful moment,” ACP Sealy stated, “not just because of the parade and uniforms, but because it represents perseverance, discipline under pressure, and the conscious decision to live a life of service.”

Moreover, she asserted: “Policing is not just a job; it is a promise to stand between order and chaos, and to choose courage every day. We do not wear the badge to be seen, but to serve.”
ACP Sealy described the event as a significant milestone for the recruits, noting that they have completed one of the most demanding journeys they will ever undertake.
