Tatyana Ali, star of the hit series ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’, and Stanford University Professor Dr. Vaughn Rasberry will be the keynote speakers at the Caribbean Film & Media Academy’s (CFMA) inaugural Creativity & Innovation Youth Forum today, as part of the Nobel Laureate Festival.
The event, hosted by CFMA Founder Lisa Wickham will feature interactive sessions and a ‘keynote talkback’ with Ali and Rasberry.
“This isn’t just another seminar, it’s a full-day experience designed for the next wave of creators (ages 13–21) to flex their bold ideas and celebrate the power of Caribbean voices,” said the CFMA.
The event takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Pastoral Centre.
Ali, a Harvard graduate and 5-time NAACP Image Award winner is a Broadway-trained actress, singer, producer and activist.
Dr. Rasberry, her husband, is an Associate Vice Provost for Graduate Education and Associate Professor of English and African American Studies at Stanford.
