Caribbean International Fashion Week (CIFW) returns to Saint Lucia this January with a full schedule of editorial photo shoots and in-person fashion presentations. Produced by Metropolitan Couture Media Group (MCMG), CIFW will showcase local and international talent and designer brands, providing an opportunity for creatives to generate content and for brands to connect with new customers.
The photoshoots will highlight Saint Lucia’s unique style, featuring local models and a variety of ready-to-wear women’s fashion that are affordable and trendy. These shoots will take place prior to in-person events, setting the stage for an exciting line up of activities.
“On Friday Jan 16th from noon till sunset we host a group shoot at the Bay Gardens Beach Resort, taking place during our Makeovers on the Beach event. While our international guests receive beauty makeovers and free photos, our team of photographers (have) unlimited access to the resort grounds and beachfront to create magic with selected models,” CIFW said in a release.
A ‘Runway Showcase’ is scheduled for January 17th .
“This year’s showcase will feature live performances from Esteblazin, Goddess Prettii, and the Youth in Arts Theater Company. Hosting and also performing live is the current Miss St. Lucia USA Independence, Tayla St. Rose. Our final event, open to the public, is Brunch and Bikinis at Bay Gardens Beach Resort from 1:00-4:00 pm on Sun Jan 18th – a poolside fashion presentation with our host and DJ providing the entertainment, restaurant and bar providing specials, and our team of photographers capturing the vibes,” said CIFW.
