On Wednesday, high-intensity action continued in this season’s SPFL tournament.
In Tier 2, at the Desruisseaux playing field, Mon Repos defeated Micoud 5-3. Denis Roberts dominated the field with a hat-trick, scoring in the 13th, 36th, and 67th minutes.
Andrus Charlerey added another goal in the 40th minute, and Jordan Peter sealed the victory with a strike in the 90+ minute. Micoud fought back with goals from Shervin Edith in the 40th minute and Levi Antione, who netted twice with goals in the 80th and 90th minutes.
In another match at the same venue, the home team Desruisseaux emerged victorious against Marchand with a score of 2-1. Darson Jetram opened the scoring in the 33rd minute, followed by another goal from Jessie James in the 82nd minute.
Vershen James converted for Marchand in the 75th minute, but it wasn’t enough to change the outcome.
Meanwhile, SPFL action will pause until matches resume after the Lucian Carnival season.
